At The Colour Library, we're thrilled to introduce Aisling Kirwan, our passionate and talented Colour Consultant. Aisling firmly believes that colour is at the heart of how we feel, and the emotional impact of paint in our homes should never be underestimated. Her ethos is simple yet impactful: create spaces that are inviting and functional, blending comfort and happiness with timeless style. As the proud owner of her own period home, Aisling has a passion for colour and is often referred to a a serial renovator.
A Career Rooted in Expertise
Aisling’s journey in the paint and design world is as vibrant as her approach to interiors:
- 2007: Graduated with a BSc. Degree in Industrial Biochemistry and spend 13 years working as a Materials Scientist in Ireland's leading paint manufacturing industry and in one of Ireland's top universities.
- Coatings Industry Specialist: From paint testing to formulation, she built a deep understanding of what makes exceptional paint.
- Following a career change in 2021 Aisling created Lilac + Moss Interiors, a bespoke interior design company.
- She currently works as a Colour Consultant for a leading paint brand for the past number of years whilst completing various colour theory courses to keep her skillset relevant and up to date.
